Indicated

Situated on a NE-facing slope in undulating pastureland. The site of a small circular enclosure (TN015-103002) is situated immediately to the SE. A raised circular area (diam. 54.9m N-S), defined by a bank reduced to a scarp (H 0.8m), a fosse (Wth 4m; D 1.1m) and an external bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 1.37m). There is a gap in the outer bank in the SW quadrant with a causeway (Wth 2.8m) which may be modern and some quarrying has taken place at N. A water tower has been built in the centre of the site. It is possible that this site was constructed as a tree-ring between 1840 and 1903 as it is not indicated on 1st ed. OS 6-inch map.
