mill (water)230 yd

Explorer Tom The Mill in Killanny is powered by nothing but pure 19th-century stubbornness. Some hero saved it from becoming a car park, but nobody remembers their name. Sit on a wall nearby and pretend you're grinding grain.

New BridgeBridge · 1208 yd

Explorer Tom New Bridge’s least favourite visitor is probably a tourist who keeps asking if it’s new, because it clearly isn’t. It sits right on the county border, acting as a very stone-faced bouncer between provinces. Tell the kids it's a castle and watch them believe you completely.

mill (wind)1602 yd

Explorer Tom This windmill in Aghafad would tell a stranger, “I’m not just a mill; I’m a landmark with no water power and big dreams.” It’s one of the few left standing, so naturally it acts like it. Find the date

Monkey-puzzle4.0 miEuropean Beech4.1 mi

Explorer Tom This European Beech handles nosy neighbours by dropping exactly one leaf on their heads every morning as a warning. It’s subtle but deadly effective. Tell the next person you meet it's haunted. It might be.

Round Tower4.4 mi

Explorer Tom Round Tower in Inishkeen Glebe was built after a suspicious bargain involving a goat and a very confused landlord. It’s got a doorway high enough to keep out short skeptics. Have a sandwich here and call it a heritage lunch.

Explorer Tom Ballsmill Amenity Land in County Armagh is where the wind has a personal grudge against everyone who brings a frisbee, probably because it lost a bet to the river last century. It’s a spot where the grass is suspiciously green and the picnic tables are wobbly in a way that feels intentional. Find the wonkiest bit and send it to your group chat.
