Stone Circle

In level pasture, on saddle between Maunvaugh hill and lower ridge to S, overlooking Owennashingaun river basin to E. Axial stone missing, interior of circle filled with field stones. Orthostats are 0.6m to 1m L, 0.3m to 0.4m T and 0.4m to 0.6m H. Estimated internal measurement along main axis, aligned NE-SW, is c. 3m. (Ó Nualláin 1984, 43, no. 87; Roberts 1988, Ch. 5, no. 2).
