What is recorded here

Pole-mounted cast-iron post box with P&T monogram, c.1930. Rectangular-box with rounded edges, rectangular letter slot and rectangular display panel to door. Attached to concrete pole by metal fasteners and resting on concrete wall.
This cast-iron post box is an attractive addition to the village streetscape. Such boxes are now becoming increasingly rare as they are often being replaced by plastic boxes.
