What is recorded here

Situated on top of a hill known as Rath hill with good views in all directions. Barely visible remains of a circular hilltop enclosure (70m N-S by 70m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 2m) which is only visible under suitable conditions. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
