Megalithic structure in Rathaneague

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. 'Dolmen cist, cap on small stones' (UCC). Slab (2m x 1.7m) rests on smaller stones. Walsh (pers. comm. OS Office) suggests may be rock outcrop prised off bedrock. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
