Four-arched masonry road bridge, built c.1860, across Dromore River. Narrow tarmacadam deck with large hammer-dressed blocks to parapet coping. Parapet and spandrels of random rubble-stone. Shallow segmental arches with cut-stone voussoirs. Ashlar abutments with V-cutwaters. Battered approach ramps.

A well-composed bridge displaying a mixture of random and cut-stone limestone blocks, typical of the nineteenth century bridges over secondary rivers. The bridge is a key feature of the civil engineering heritage of the area, and replaced an earlier bridge to the north-east. Its precise design and detail demonstrate the technical skill employed in infrastructural works of this period.
