Built into natural break in slope, in corner of field. Rectangular kiln (c. 8m E-W; 6.8m N-S; front H c. 8m; rear H 2.2m); top and rear heavily overgrown with ivy (front H c. 8m; rear H 2.2m). Front elevation (N) inaccessible but wide stone arch recess visible, with lower inner arch; sloping slabs to rear. Funnel inaccessible. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map.
