Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Drom An Gharraí is a circular earthwork in County Cork, Ireland, still visible as a slightly raised band and stone scatter inside working farmland. Its name invites fairy tale, but the visible form is human: a boundary made dense enough to mark ownership, exclude stock, or separate one household from the road and fields around it. The fairies may be later dressing for an old shape that stopped looking ordinary the moment people stopped living beside it.

In tillage, on N-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (30m E-W; 27.1m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 2.1m) SW->N; slight rise elsewhere with concentration of stones on surface, clearly visible in ploughed field. Surrounding field fences removed; field clearance material dumped on remaining section of bank (SW->N). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
