Six-arch road bridge, built c.1820, spanning River Foherish, having additional overflow arches to banks. Rendered rubble stone walls, springing from rendered plinths with V-cutwaters. Rubble stone parapet walls with render stringcourse and coping. Segmental-arches, having exposed roughly dressed stone voussoirs to western overflow arch, rendered elsewhere.

This bridge is a fine example of the technical achievements of local builders. It is constructed with rubble limestone masonry which has over time been rendered. Originally located on the main Macroom to Ballyvourney road the bridge has now been by-passed to the south and replaced by a concrete structure, but it remains an important feature of the landscape.
