Clearing a field in Baile An Bhuaidh reveals a thirty-five metre circle where human patience built a temporary home. The earthen bank still stands, though grass and forgotten tools have blurred its edges. Fairy fort is a nickname born of wonder, not proof. A family may have lived there, raised children, and vanished into history while the earth kept their shape.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (35.5m N-S) defined by low earthen bank (max. H 0.75m) topped by stone field boundary. Bank and edges of interior heavily overgrown. Field clearance material dumped along outer bank face S->ENE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
