Knockroe holds a long low standing stone, not much taller than a child, lying across a southwest pasture slope in County Cork. Its rounded point tilts east like a finger pressing into the earth, marking a line old enough to predate every road and fence around it. People may have set it there to judge distance, honour loss or simply warn that the land remembers before humans arrive.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Long low stone (H 0.9m; 1.4m x 0.5m) sloping up to rounded point just E of centre; long axis E-W.
