Indicated is a holy well in County Cork, Ireland, now hidden inside an ordinary pump house. Local memory still calls it Tober an tsagart, suggesting prayer and water once moved through that place before human hands rebuilt it for utility. The well may have given life to the neighbourhood, marking time with ritual rather than measurement.

Linked to a local tradition of pilgrimage and healing, the well known as "Tober an tsagart" (Well of the Priest) may have been dedicated to an early Christian saint or local holy man. Such wells were often sites of devotional practices and were believed to possess curative properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes or general health.
