Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Gortnalaght

Situated at the crest of the slight SW-facing slope of a low hill. Circular area (diam. 35m) defined by an eroded earth and stone bank (Wth 2-4m; int. H 0.8-1.6m; ext. H 1.2-1.4m) with traces of internal and external stone-facing. The entrance is not identified, and there is no visible fosse. It is planted with coniferous trees.
