In re-seeded/reclaimed grassland atop low hillock in undulating upland area with good views in all directions. Nearby hilltop enclosure (TS054-030----) 150m to NE. Barely visible cropmark of levelled enclosure (approx. diam. 30m N-S) which was situated on top of a natural hillock. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the first (1840) edition OS 6-inch map and as a semi-circular enclosure on the 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map.
