In pasture, on NNW-facing slope into valley, immediately below brow of hill. Monument, depicted as oval embanked enclosure (c. 50m SW-NE; c. 30m SE-NW) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected. Described in 1840 (OSNB, No 85, 229) as 'a fort ... named Paddock fort'. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
