Fairy fort in Rylanes is an oval earthen ringfort, 48 metres north-south and 40 metres east-west, on an east-facing pasture slope in County Limerick. Its earth-and-stone bank still stands 1.2 metres high outside, with a shallow fosse beyond, though a field drain has cut through part of the ditch and a gap opens at the southwest. The interior slopes gently downward beneath rough grass, suggesting people once lived inside this modest enclosed space before pasture and time softened its edges.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Oval area (48m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 1.6m). Bank (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 1.2m), best preserved SW->N, has break (Wth 2.2m) at SW. Fosse, best preserved SW->NW, has been re-cut NNW->SSW with field drain feeding into it at either end.
