Situated on a low natural rock outcrop in a poorly drained area with a nearby holy well (TN035-012) to the N. Depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular earthwork without the church which is indicated on the latest ed. map. Natural rock outcrop, the base of which has been scarped, to from a flat-topped platform (diam. 35m E-W; N-S 21m) defined by a scarp (H 1m) with wall-footings of a nineteenth-century church (TN035-013002) in the centre.
