Section of stone flagged paving, c.1890, with cut-stone kerbing having sections of wrought iron railings, and flight of three cut-granite steps to north-east.
This section of footpath is of significance as a reminder of the traditional method of paving, employing locally-sourced stone. The footpath is an attractive, and subtle, feature of the streetscape and is imbued with a picturesque quality that is lacking in modern cement and concrete footpaths.
