Freestanding chimney, built 1937, on an octagonal plan. Decommissioned, 1974. Now disused. Braced red brick English bond walls on stepped plinth with stringcourse below capping. Set back from line of street in shared grounds.
An eye-catching chimney surviving as an interesting relic of a jute works opened (1937) by J. and L.F. Goodbody (established 1865).
