Ch., Grave yd. — Ballyburly matters because material evidence was found or examined here, allowing the place to answer questions that its name alone cannot. The source records: While no clearly identifiable archaeological features were discovered during the course of monitoring, it certainly appears that some archaeological material exists over the general area of the site, particularly in the northern and western sides. The examination or finds give physical evidence for date, use or human activity rather than leaving the account as guesswork.
