Close to Murragh, pillar stones still mark graves the people call the graves of the Kings. Whether those kings ruled red soil, storm tide or forgotten human hearts, the stones refuse to explain themselves. They only wait for someone honest enough to listen without demanding proof.

Collins (1939, 133) noted that 'Close to Murragh are graves marked by pillar stones called by the people the 'graves of the Kings'. The precise location of these burials is not known.
