Single-span bridge, built c.1865, spanning disused railway line. Elliptical three centred arch, having red brick and rubble stone voussoirs and rubble stone soffits. Rubble stone spandrels and parapet walls with dressed limestone coping.

This is a fine example of the bridges which were built as part of the development of the Cork, Bandon and South Coast railway network. Excellent engineering and craftsmanship can be seen in this imposing structure. Together with the adjacent former station master's house and station, this railway group once played a significant role in the local community and is a reminder of the extent of the railway network in the past.
