Single-span limestone railway bridge, built c.1845, carrying Cork to Mallow railway line over road. Rock faced walls and abutments, recent concrete parapet and segmental-arch with margined rock faced voussoirs.

This bridge's form and materials are characteristic of railway bridges of its time. The high quality rock faced rustication adds textural interest to the site, and is typical of the high quality masonry associated with nineteenth century railway construction. It forms part of a significant group with the bridges between Cork and Mallow.
