Detached three-bay two-storey house built c. 1840, now derelict. Rectangular-plan, central gable-fronted porch to south, two-storey return and lean-to extensions to north. Pitched slate roofs, clay ridge tiles, roughcast-rendered corbelled chimneystacks, east chimneystack projecting from wall, stone verge coping, carved timber bargeboards to porch, cast-iron gutters on corbelled eaves course, circular cast-iron downpipes. Painted roughcast-rendered walling with random rubble stone and red brick walling visible where render has come away, limestone ashlar walling to porch. Square-headed window openings, dressed limestone sills, one-over-one timber sliding sash windows c. 1880. Square-headed opening to porch, tooled limestone steps, inner square-headed door with overlight. Set in own grounds; two-storey random rubble stone outbuilding to east, pitched slate and corrugated-iron roof, square-headed openings, painted timber vertically-sheeted doors, red brick pigeon holes to south; red brick wall to west, segmental-arched opening; further outbuildings to north.
Though now derelict, this house retains its simple form with the fine ashlar porch and dressed window sills adding a touch of elegance to the structure. Of particular note are the pigeon holes found on the outbuilding, a reminder of pursuits from a past age.
