Detached six-bay two-storey house, built c.1860. Later extension and verandah to rear (east). Pitched and hipped artificial slate roofs having rendered chimneystacks with cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Roughcast and painted smooth rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Round-headed opening (west) with one-over-one timber sliding sash window and stained glass. Square-headed door openings with single and double-leaf timber replacement doors.
Despite renovations this imposing building retains much of its original character. The large scale of this dwelling marks it out as a building which was built in the nineteenth century as a high status home.
