An Tigín Eile

Terraced three-bay two-storey house, built c.1890. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with timber glazed door and overlight.

This building retains much of its historic character, with the asymmetrical fenestration making it a particularly notable and charming addition to the streetscape. This asymmetry is typical of the vernacular tradition which was later replaced by more formalised compositions. The timber sliding was windows are notable features in the streetscape.
