Detached U-plan seven-bay two-storey Georgian country house, built c.1770, with recent additions to rear (north). Hipped roofs with rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two (first floor) and four-over-four (ground floor) timber siding sash windows with stone sills and internal shutters. Altered round-headed door opening with recent timber panelled door. Associated outbuildings to rear.
This pleasing Georgian country house is located on a fine, slightly elevated site and is a notable feature on the hillside outside Dunmanway. Despite alterations the original form and character of the building remain intact, while the related outbuildings add to its setting and context.
