Stone weir, built c.1820.
Though presently in poor condition this weir is representative of nineteenth-century industrial activity. The weir formed a mill pond to the west of the weir. With a hydraulic ram and eel trap, formerly located to the site, this weir formed part of a group of structures relating to Mahonstown House.
