Freestanding cast-iron water pump, erected c.1870, having fluted neck and spout, fluted cap with finial, banded shaft, and curved cow tail handle. Now disused.
Attractive cast-iron water pump located in its original position in the village of Grenagh which would have acted as a communal water source. The banding and fluting are well-executed and along with the elegantly curved handle, add artistic interest to this utilitarian object.
