Fairy fort in Grenagh South is a circular earthen ringfort with a 6m eastern gap, a 2.7m bank and a shallow outside ditch. It sits in pasture on an east-facing slope, simple enough to walk around and small enough to imagine inhabited. The gap may have been an entrance, a collapse or a deliberate invitation.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (36m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by earthen bank (max. int. H 2.7m); external fosse (max. D 1.5m) SSE->ENE. Break (Wth 6m) in bank to E.
