In pasture on a S-facing slope. This natural spring well is covered with bushes; a stream flows S from it. No votive offerings were visible in its vicinity.

Linked to Saint Patrick, the well is associated with traditional Christian pilgrimage and may have been a site of early medieval worship. Holy wells dedicated to Saint Patrick were often believed to possess healing properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and general well-being.
