Single-arch limestone bridge over canal, dated 1792, with dressed stone walls, string courses, ashlar voussoirs, ashlar parapets and ashlar copings. Plaques to upstream and downstream elevations.

This single-arch canal bridge forms an interesting group of related structures with the former canal workers' house and lock to the north-east. It also forms part of a boarder group with the surviving structures along the canal. Clearly the work of skilled masons, this bridge is executed with high quality masonry.
