Standing stone in Lahardane stands in a quiet pasture, a thin vertical presence on level ground. It is not a distant myth or a hidden chamber, but a visible mark in ordinary countryside. A person walking past may have felt the shape of the place change, as if the land had stopped pretending to be empty.
