Standing stone in Glentane

In pasture atop hill. Sub-rectangular stone of irregular shape (H 1.93m; 1.9m x 0.7m), long axis N-S, leaning slightly to W. Bedding stones exposed at base. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
