What is recorded here

Mnemo records an upright limestone marker in Ballybricken West, but human memory may have lived around it long before measurement. Cattle walked the same pasture, packed the soil, and shaped the depression still visible beside the stone. The marker stood through forage, rain, and forgotten ceremony while the region changed around it.

In generally level pasture. Upright stone (H 1.6m) of limestone is rectangular in plan (Wth 0.4m; T 0.15m); long-axis NW-SE. Distinct depression around stone probably caused by cattle erosion. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 25 November 2013
