Penitential Station

In pasture atop terrace on SE-facing slope of Spratt hill overlooking Coomnageragh river. Two support stones visible beneath flat topped, quartz cover-stone (1.4m x 1.4m; T 0.8m); surrounded by low grass-covered mound (diam. 4.2m; H 0.15m). Two standing stones and cairn to NE are used as penetential stations (CO118-071002-). Five-stone circle (CO118-073001-) 200m to E. (Roberts, 1988, Ch. 5, no. 3).
