The interior is overlain by two N-S field walls, but field banks are connected to the outer bank at the NE and SE corners, including what may have been part of a roadway (RO034-082001-), now removed, but visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AVH 72), running NE (L c. 100m) towards Oran church (RO034-080001-) c. 500m to the NE. Archaeological testing (04E1497) c. 30m to SW failed to produce any related archaeological material (Delany 2007a). (Knox 1911, 311-13; Graham 1988, 31) See the attached aerial image taken from the NE.
