Detached three-bay two-storey house, extant 1888, with extension to rear (north). Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Lime rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with painted stone sills and uPVC casement windows. Round-headed door opening with fanlight, uPVC door and sidelights to front (south) elevation. Concrete block outbuilding with pitched slate roof, having inscribed limestone slab to west elevation. Square-profile rendered gate piers with side walls and wrought-iron gates to south-east of site. Set within own grounds.

This house retains much of its original form and some original fabric and, although unmarked on historic editions of the Ordnance Survey, a plaque gives it as the birthplace of Con Colbert (1888-1916) who gave his life in the struggle for Irish freedom. The plaque is inscribed: "CON COLBERT/EXECUTED 8:V:1916/BORN IN THIS HOUSE/19:X:1888/IRELAND HIS LOVE".
