Ardnacrohy holds an oval ringfort where a shallow ditch and low earthen bank still mark a home long forgotten. Cattle graze the southern slope today, but the preserved northern entrance and unbroken western gap suggest people once chose exactly where to enter and leave. The fort is small enough to walk inside a minute, yet large enough to keep a family, herds and memories separate from the open field.

In pasture, on slight SW-facing slope. Oval area (29.2m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.05m), with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 2.4m) WNW->NE. Entrance (Wth 2.2m) at NNE; gap in bank at W. A N-S running field boundary crosses fosse at ENE; drain runs along fosse SW->W. Interior slopes down to S and is under pasture.
