In pasture, on a very gentle WSW-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 20m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 1.7m; H 1.0m). Entrance (Wth 2m) at SE and breach (Wth 1.2m) at ESE. Remains of fosse (basal Wth 1.25m; overall Wth 3.55m; D 0.1m) NE-NW. Fosse re-cut in recent years to create a wide pond concentric NW-N-NE with the ringfort. Interior generally level and raised (H 1.0m) above exterior ground level. Forestry planted E-S-WNW c. 12m from monument.
