In pasture, 150m E of Rathcoola River. Depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 28m) on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; no visible surface trace. According to Hartnett (1939, 207) 'outline still traceable' (diam. 100 feet approximately), levelled c. 1919 and locally known as 'lios'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
