Knockyrourke in Muskerry East By. held a single standing stone on a north-facing pasture slope, visible on the 1939 map but absent from earlier surveys. The stone has vanished without surface trace, perhaps pulled for wall building or lost when the field changed hands. Its sudden disappearance suggests human hands rather than natural decay, leaving behind an empty patch of grass where the landmark once stood.
