Listed in the RMP (1996) as ‘Watermill, possible site’. One of two mills (see CL033-138002-) referred to as the ‘Mills of Inish’ in 1656 in the Inchiquin Mss (540) and in the Manor Court Rolls (365) in 1685 as cited by Ó Dálaigh (2012, 16). Also 2 corn mills and a miller’s house are mentioned in Moland’s survey of 1703 (ibid.). The location of this mill and the name ‘Lifford Mills’ are shown on Ó Dálaigh’s map (2012, 4).
