Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

In pasture, on W-facing hill slope. Circular area (diam. 29m) enclosed by stone bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.9m). Bank best preserved SW->NE where dry-stone field wall (H 0.9m) runs along outer edge; bank denuded by cattle at ENE. Interior, under pasture, rises up gently towards centre. Field walls abut external bank face at SW and NE; another which abutted it at W has been removed since it was depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
