On grounds of Newtown House which no longer survives. Two-storey structure of 11 bays, with 3-bay central breakfront (long axis E-W). Hipped roof; most eastern bay has subsidiary gable on N-S axis. Date plaque, in breakfront, inscribed 1793. Now used as residential building. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
