What is recorded here

Semi-detached eight-bay two-storey inn, c.1785. Eastern three bays a later extension. Smooth rendered ground floor and roughcast rendered first floor walls with raised quoins. Replacement timber casement windows and doors throughout. Thatched roof with gable end chimney to west and small, possibly original, rendered chimney stack to east. Modern extensions to rere.
A handsome vernacular inn which, due to its substantial size, well maintained façade and large thatched roof, is a prominent element in the streetscape.
