What is recorded here
Freestanding cast-iron post box, erected c.1905, with moulded neck and curved cap. Cast-iron royal insignia and crown of King Edward VII to door. The name of the manufacturer is inscribed on the base.
This cast-iron post box, although simple in design, is an attractive piece of street furniture. The high-relief casting of the letters and crown add an artistic element to it.
