Gallaun is a tall standing stone in Glanleam, County Kerry, trapped inside a much younger fort called Cromwell's Fort. The ancient upright predates the military earthwork by millennia, creating a strange layered collision where human ambition kept returning to the same prominent marker. A visitor in 1839 found the stone loose enough to shake, yet packing stones and a leaning slab now hold it upright against the sky.

In pasture with commanding views to N, E and S. Rectangular stone aligned NNE-SSW (H 2.25m; 1.38m x 0.61m).
