What is recorded here

Standing stone in Driminidy South stands twelve metres high above pasture, its north-south line pointing across the Saivnose valley like a finger dragging water into memory. The smaller stone leans against its southeast foot, not buried but resting, as if two people had sat there until flesh forgot itself and bone became geology. Rain strikes the ridge crest and runs down the stone’s skin, carrying mud from fields that have never stopped moving. What was measured once may still be breathing underneath the numbers.
